Data Deletion
Last updated 29 September 2026
How to delete your data from Aura, Hella, Nexus CMS or our websites, and how to remove our access to your Facebook, Instagram or WhatsApp accounts. Find the part that fits you. Every request is free.
The quickest way
Email admin@shankhlabs.com with the subject Data deletion request, and tell us:
- Which product or website it is about
- The email address or phone number the data is linked to
- For a business account, the organisation or project name
We may ask you to confirm the request comes from you. We delete within 30 days, usually much sooner, and email you when it is done.
If you messaged a business that uses Hella
Your conversation is held for that business, so you can ask them to delete it, and they can do that from Hella. Or write to us with the business name and the phone number you messaged from. We delete your contact record, messages and opt-in record, and tell the business we have done so.
If you contacted a business through a website on Nexus CMS
Your enquiry, application or order is held for that business. Ask them, or write to us with the website address and the email or phone number you used. We delete your enquiries, applications and any customer record we hold for you on that site, and tell the business we have done so.
If you use Aura
Remove Aura's access to Facebook or Instagram yourself. On Facebook, open Settings & privacy, then Settings, then Business integrations (on some accounts this is called Apps and websites). Find Aura and choose Remove. Aura loses access straight away.
Delete your Aura account and everything in it. Email us from the address on the account. We delete:
- Your brand guide, products and uploaded photos
- Every drafted and published post, image and campaign held in Aura
- Lead searches and what they found
- The access keys for every connected social account
- Your user account and sign-in details
Posts already published on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X or Google stay there until you delete them on that platform.
If you use Hella
Remove Hella's access to WhatsApp yourself. In Meta Business Suite, open Settings, then Business integrations (or Apps), find our app and remove it. Hella can no longer send or receive on your numbers from that moment. Email us as well and we delete the stored Meta access keys and the account and number IDs we held, while keeping the rest of your workspace if you want it.
Delete your whole Hella account. Email us from the account owner's address with your organisation name. We delete:
- Users and sign-in details
- All conversations, media and delivery history
- Contacts, tags, segments and opt-in records
- Templates, flows, automations and AI agent settings
- Catalogue, orders and payment references
- All stored Meta access keys
If you use Nexus CMS
Remove one person. A project admin can remove them in User Management, which ends their access straight away. To delete the login completely, that person emails us from the address on the account. The edits they made stay part of the website.
Delete a whole project. An account owner emails us with the project name. We delete:
- Pages, posts, lists, products and all other content
- Every file in the media library
- Enquiries, applications, customers and orders
- Team members, invitations and sign-in details
- Connections to Aura, Hella and any webhooks
If you contacted Shankh Labs
If you filled in a form on one of our websites or messaged us on WhatsApp, email us and we will delete your enquiry and the conversation.
Before you delete
Deletion is permanent. If you want to keep anything, such as contacts, conversations or website content, ask us for an export first.
What may stay, and why
- Invoices and payment records, kept for as long as Indian tax and company law requires. They contain billing details only.
- Copies in our encrypted backups, until those backups are replaced in the normal cycle.
- Anything already delivered, such as WhatsApp messages on the recipient's phone and on Meta's systems, or posts shared on social media. The platform's own policies cover those.
- Search results and web archives. Once a page is removed from a website, search engines drop it on their own schedule.
